Something on PC bothers me all the time and that’s « Noise »
The thing is that the PC must be cooled down and for that reason something turns all the time called the cooler.
My first approach to get rid of this problem was to have a silent case, thinking I may prefer solid front panel and little space for intake, to have smaller portion where sounds get out.
I bought yesterday this PC Case;
Fractal Design Meshify C Midi Tower
then I knew i was totally wrong.
The thing is that when you have silent but performant cooler (or ventilator), you better open up your case cause it cools down your PC and the cooler doesn’t need to turn all the time at higher speed, then it’s more silent.
This case is quite open. Front panel is a mesh, back panel, bottom panel, upper panel, are mesh too.
It’s totally open case.
Then I used the Noctua fans which are quite silent.
I didn’t check the decibel meter but I’m pretty much sure I lowered at minimum 4 decibel.
